When the
heart gives a command, the mind, body and soul must obey. That’s
what Cinnamon Browne found out as she searched for true love
after she and her childhood boyfriend "Chunky" parted
ways.
It all started at the tender age of 13 in the suburbs of Florida.
That’s when Cinnamon and Chunky were struck by Cupid’s arrow.
It was love at first sight. Throughout junior and senior high
school, the two lovebirds experienced sexuality and the growing
pains of adolescence. What seemed like puppy love back then
was just the beginning of a relationship that created a life-long
bond.
In 1982, Cinnamon was a budding journalist and Chunky, a promising
athlete. They were both destined for greatness. But, their
anticipated success came with a price tag. When sports anchors
reported that Chunky was slated as a first-round draft pick
for the New York Grizzlies football team, the television news
stories and headlines attracted more than just fame. Cinnamon
soon found that her best friend was plotting to steal Chunky’s
affection. Chunky’s family, who once thought of Cinnamon as
his ideal soulmate, soon labeled her a golddigger.
With the added pressures of stardom, Cinnamon felt squeezed
out of Chunky’s life. When Chunky signed a $2 million contract
and moved to New York, his over-protective family, the long
distance and a host of other factors made Cinnamon face the
reality that Chunky was slipping away. After Cinnamon and
Chunky went their separate ways, Cinnamon did everything possible
to get Chunky out of her mind.
Over a 10-year period, Cinnamon was in and out of relationships.
One particular guy seemed like a promising candidate for matrimony
until Cinnamon found out that he was sleeping with his bi-sexual
sister.
When that relationship ended, Cinnamon began dating an architect
nicknamed "Dr. Freak." Although Cinnamon thought
that his nickname was a bit peculiar, she didn’t realize just
how bizarre his name was until he showered her with love in
his own freaky way.
Cinnamon searched and searched for Mr. Right. After years
of failed relationships, Cinnamon longed for the kind of twosome
that she and Chunky once shared. Determined to love again,
Cinnamon set out to get back her first true love. As luck
would have it, Cinnamon was a day late and a dollar short.
There was another woman waiting to hook Chunky. It was the
woman who bore his first child. That woman bragged to Chunky’s
sister and friends that she had him trapped. Even though she
knew Chunky still had feelings for Cinnamon, she and her family
put on a full-court press to get Chunky to marry her. Although
Chunky vowed he’d never tie the knot with her, they married
anyway.
Crushed, broken-hearted and distraught, Cinnamon still forged
ahead to claim her long-lost beau. Cinnamon strategized, planned
and targeted Chunky’s heart. She poured on the charm. She
sent Chunky love letters and wrote him heart-felt poems. In
a decorative bag, Cinnamon sent Chunky a bottle of Heineken
Beer with a note that read, "Show me your Heiny, I’ll
show you mine." She even sent him a box of candy canes
with a message that read, "Lick these until you get a
chance to lick me."
Cinnamon put on her game face and was winning this love war.
After sending Chunky more than a dozen sexy, sensitive and
suggestive gifts, Cinnamon was soon standing at the entrance
ramp that led to Chunky’s heart.
Can she reel him in? Who knows? Pick up a copy of this book

find Cinnamon Browne: Waiting on Love.
